The 13th Annual Ray Price Capital City Bikefest and Motorsports Expo is North Carolina's only major downtown bike festival, and winner of the National DealerNews BEST EVENT award for 2013. This is a three-day biker lifestyle event that will take place Friday Sept. 22nd, Saturday Sept. 23rd, and Sunday Sept. 24th in Raleigh, NC.
The Ray Price dealership will host several on-site events all three days in addition to the festivities in downtown Raleigh and in the convention center.

Raleigh city streets will be blocked off to host the many motorcycle lifestyle elements, experiences, vendors and manufacturers. The event will feature a Main Music Stage, Entertainment Stage, Bike and Rider Productions Bike Show, a High Wire Motorcycle Thrill Show, Stunt Shows, Interactive Experiences, Food and Beverage areas, and more!

Over the past 13 years, we have developed a number of vendors who return year after year. We are, however, always seeking new and interesting vendors to add to or replace our vendor list. Be aware, that this is a Family-Friendly event and we reserve the right to limit products displayed to Family-oriented items. Your first contact should be by email to Marketing@RayPrice.com. We will begin the process of identifying which vendors will be accepted, and at which venue(s) your display should be placed. Please initiate your inquiries in emails. Phone calls should be limited to urgent discussions, and typically only immediately prior to the event, and should be placed to (919) 832-2261, asking for the Bikefest Vendor Coordinator.
Our Bikefest is held at three locations simultaneously. At the downtown location on Fayetteville Street, inside the Raleigh Convention Center and at our Dealership on South Saunders Street. Space costs are different at each. Simple 10x10 displays start at $300 at the dealership and $800 at the Downtown location. 10x20 displays are $500 and $1200 respectively. Beyond that we will discuss your needs and quote you a price. Considerations for corners, end-caps, electricity, etc, will vary your cost.
If you elect to display at our downtown location, you will be permitted to simultaneously display a similar size at our Dealership, either for all three days, or you may move your display to the dealership for the Sunday events (downtown is closed late Saturday night). Contact us for details.
The downtown venue is on city streets that are closed for the duration of the event, generally from 8pm Thursday evening until early Sunday morning, to accommodate setup and teardown. NEW FOR 2016, the Bikefest footprint will change dramatically separating the bike parking from the vendor areas. Most vendor locations will be on the street instead of on the sidewalks. There is electricity available by arranging it IN ADVANCE. You must provide your own display tent and equipment. Streets are lit up with on-street lights. Businesses on both sides of Fayetteville Street continue, in many cases, to remain open during Bikefest. The city provides trash and porta-potty services. City Parks and Recreation staff, police, and event staff monitor the event closely. Overnight, some police presence provides security, but the security of your products and displays are your responsibility.
We have an area at our dealership where most vendors display their products and services. We can accommodate up to 20x80 displays. Electricity via portable generator is available if requested in advance. You will be assigned a specific location and you should NOT set up your displays without being directed to your spot by event staff. The surface is hard-packed gravel - be aware flimsy tent stakes have difficulty penetrating this surface. We have specific set-up/tear-down timeframes which you should be familiar with. Discuss your placement in advance. We provide porta-potty and overnight security but as usual, it is your responsibility to provide protection for your equipment and products. It is permitted to occupy your site during overnight periods.
Downtown, vendor vehicle parking is not located adjacent to your space, but in a designated city lot. You will be given one vehicle permit to park in this area at no charge.
At our Dealership, vendor parking is pretty close. When the adjacent rear street is full, and the nearby corner lot is full, vendor parking is directed a short walk away. When closed, you may bring your vehicle close to your space overnight if removed in the morning.
In the City of Raleigh, a permit from the Raleigh Fire Department is required for tents over 400 sq.ft. (20'x20' or equiv.) Permits are to be submitted a minimum of 10 business days in advance of the event, and the application can be downloaded HERE. A flame resistant certificate will be required for your tent.
