The 15th Annual Capital City Bikefest is North Carolina's only major downtown bike festival, and winner of the National DealerNews BEST EVENT award for 2013. This is a three-day biker lifestyle event that will take place Friday Sept. 20th, Saturday Sept. 21st, and Sunday Sept. 22nd in Raleigh, NC.
The Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson dealership will host several on-site events all three days in addition to the festivities in downtown Raleigh.

In 2018, Capital City Bikefest will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh, NC, as well as at the Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson dealership (formerly Ray Price Harley-Davidson) a mile away at 1126 South Saunders Street. A free Shuttle will be running between the two venues during and up to an hour after the Event times. Please note the Fayetteville Street location can no longer accommodate an event of this size, and no reserved parking or vendors will be located there or at the City Plaza.
Over the past 14 years, we have developed a number of vendors who return year after year. We are, however, always seeking new and interesting vendors to add to or replace our vendor list. Be aware, that this is a Family-Friendly event and we reserve the right to limit products displayed to Family-oriented items. Your first contact should be by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will begin the process of identifying which vendors will be accepted, and at which venue(s) your display should be placed. Please initiate your inquiries in emails. Phone calls should be limited to urgent discussions, and typically only immediately prior to the event, and should be placed to (919) 832-2261, asking for the Bikefest Vendor Coordinator.
Our Bikefest is held at two locations simultaneously. Inside the Raleigh Convention Center and at the Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson Dealership on South Saunders Street. Space costs are different at each. Simple 10x10 displays start at $300 at the dealership and $600 at the Raleigh Convention Center location. 10x20 displays are $500 and $1000 respectively. Beyond that we will discuss your needs and quote you a price. Considerations for corners, end-caps, electricity, etc, will vary your cost.
We have an area at our dealership where most vendors display their products and services. We can accommodate up to 20x80 displays. Electricity via portable generator is available if requested in advance. There is a fee for Electricity at both venues. You will be assigned a specific location and you should NOT set up your displays without being directed to your spot by event staff. The surface is hard-packed gravel - be aware flimsy tent stakes have difficulty penetrating this surface. We have specific set-up/tear-down timeframes which you should be familiar with. Discuss your placement in advance. We provide porta-potty and overnight security but as usual, it is your responsibility to provide protection for your equipment and products. It is permitted to occupy your site during overnight periods.
There are plenty of City Parking Decks surrounding our Bikefest footprint, mostly on Wilmington Street. Parking is your responsibility. We have available a large gravel lot for trailers and large rigs at the corner of South Street and Dawson (G-Lot)
At our dealership location, vendor parking is limited. Do not bring extra vehicles or trailers if not critical to your vending operation. When the adjacent rear street is full, and the nearby corner lot is full, vendor parking is directed a short walk away. When closed, you may bring your vehicle close to your space overnight if removed in the morning.
In the City of Raleigh, a permit from the Raleigh Fire Department is required for tents over 400 sq.ft. (20'x20' or equiv.) Permits are to be submitted a minimum of 10 business days in advance of the event. Contact Raleigh Fire Department for permits and fees. A flame resistant certificate will be required for your tent.
