Stephen Rudd is a singer/songwriter. Originally from Southend, Essex, UK, now relocated to Raleigh North Carolina USA. Ryan Adams meets Counting Crows, Neil Finn meets Bruce Springsteen. Fusing them into his own unique songwriting style with sharp lyrics and hooks, the results are an engaging brand of Folk/Rock, Alt-Country, Indie/Folk & Americana.
Stephen writes songs with a big heart, soul and a warm embrace. Songs of life, hope, dreams, trials, and the winding roads of relationships.
He has seen tracks played on various internet stations around the world including UK, USA and the Far East.
In Aug 2017 he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina USA seeking new challenges and opportunities.
Stephen has played at UK Festivals including Rochester Sweeps Festival, Leigh Folk Festival, Cosmic Puffin Festival, Estuary Fringe Festival and Rhythms Of The World Festival.
Musical influences are drawn from a broad palette of artists from his native shores to across the pond including artist such as Van Morrison, Butch Walker, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Justin Currie, REM, Mike Scott, Neil Finn/Crowded House, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Brian Fallon, David Gray.
Weekend admission to the events at the Raleigh Convention Center including the Bike Shows, Tattoo Fest, stunt shows and vendors will be $10.00 for everyone 12+. Children 12 years and younger will be admitted for free. Tickets to the events at the Raleigh Convention Center can be pre-purchased for $10.00 + $2.61 convenience fee and are valid for admission on Saturday and Sunday. They can also be purchased at the door.
