Event Details

Dakota Blue is an American Country rock/Southern rock band from Snow Hill, N.C. United States. The lineup consists of Al Beaman (lead vocals, guitar), Ty Williamson (bass, vocals), John Grant (drums), Jacob Sutton (Lead guitar, vocals), and Chase Jones (Lead Guitar, vocals). Their music reflects the vast array of musical influences from Pearl Jam to Waylon, from the Eagles to Travis Tritt. This blend of Rock and Country is evident in their music, from writing and performing their own songs to giving Dakota Blue style renditions of classics like Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “The Needle and The Spoon” and Eric Church’s “Drink In My Hand”. A Dakota Blue show is anything but boring!! They have performed throughout North Carolina both as headliner and as the supporting act for artists such as Colt Ford, Mattie & Tae, Love and Theft and other major North Carolina acts. On September 8th 2016, they performed at the “Spot Jam” festival in La Grange, N.C. where they began live recordings of their first music video for the song “Emerald Isle”, a Dakota Blue original and a favorite with the fans. Dakota Blue fans affectionately call themselves “The Blue Crew”.
