All of the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together. So far we have shown you how we have torn apart a stock bike and have started to prep for paint and made modifications to the different parts. Here is another part that actually is very special because of how it was created. We have finished the tail section for this custom bike including the paint job. The great thing that the lucky winner of this bike, and everyone else, will notice is the bike's customized tail section. Our in house research and development team analyzed the trends and looks that would give this bike the ideal design and feel. We constructed a model based on what we thought would tie the whole motorcycle together. The model was made by our team from fiberglass and it was sent off to the painter who created the tail section based on our model. It is always cool to see ideas made on paper come into existence. When the tail section was finished it was the shiny black that you can see in the picture above. The seat that fit the tail section was paired up with the custom piece. We used an integrated v-rod tail light to complete the set. With the gloss black look completed we are finally able to start applying the designs for the paint that were developed at the beginning.

With all the talk of paint, this is the first look at the custom color scheme of the bike. We have taken the black original tail section and painted it blue, green, and orange, the school colors of Carolina Career College. You can observe the three C's with Carolina through the middle on the tail end of the bike and Career College painted underneath the logo. The blue sections against the orange tail end are lined with green paint to tie all the colors together. The logo is reflected on both sides of the tail section. This is a custom paint job featuring pin striping and basic paint not metal flake. This will be the outline that the rest of the bike will follow and when it is finally put together it will flow together in a completely exclusive way.

Now you have an idea of the custom look we are achieving but there is plenty more to come. Bikefest is creeping up on us and will be here before we know it. Ray Price Harley Davidson and Carolina Career College can't wait to see the finished product and we can't wait to see the lucky winner that gets to take this bike home with them. Those details are to come, along with more on the reconstruction of this amazing bike.
